A very beautiful day hike. Technically not particularly demanding, surefootedness and sturdy footwear are necessary.
It's worth allowing about an extra 30 minutes for Spalt. The traditional "Hupfen" (a kind of 'butterfly') is omnipresent in the numerous alleys.

Super great circular hiking trail today with beautiful weather around 20 degrees. Very varied, sometimes up and down again, the hiking trail went through beautiful forests. Beautiful narrow root paths alternated with sunny paths. Wernfels Castle is the absolute highlight. I can only recommend everyone 🌞
