Swedish Stone (Kamień Szwedzki)

The Swedish Stone was placed in 1626 on the border of the free state states of Żmigród and Milicz with the property of the monastery in Trzebnica. Currently, the border of Trzebnica and Milicz poviats runs here. The stone is 3 meters high, its name comes from the time of the Thirty Years' War, when Swedish troops were on the prowl. It is also known as the Napoleon's Pillar, reportedly when Napoleonic soldiers sharpened sabers on it in 1812.
