After several months of renovation by the creator, „Fiery Birds” ended up on the Polish-Soviet Friendship Square, now Plac Zgody. They were placed on a steel ramp, on a lawn between ul. Bogusława X and Obrońców Stalingradu (now Bałuki).
In 1989, the construction of a new tenement house began at this location, so there was no longer space for the artistic installation.
They were put into storage for five years. They require conservation work.
Eventually, „Fiery Birds” landed in Kasprowicz Park.
