September 12, 2025,Cinque Terre: Riomaggiore - Campiglia - Portovenere
In Riomaggiore, the path leads steeply uphill via steps: super strenuous, but you'll immediately reach some very beautiful viewpoints. From the Madonna di Montenero church, the trail continues uphill and downhill (but less steeply) through very diverse forests, vineyards, and olive groves – always offering breathtaking views of the Cinque Terre coastline.

Great views. A lot of stairs. Rocks instead of path at places but it was worth it.
Portovenere - Riomaggiore. path of infinity. Departure from the small square of Portovenere in front of the Porta del Borgo. A steep staircase flanks the walls of the Doria Castle, making you immediately gain altitude. Following the AV5T signpost, also on some asphalted sections up to Campiglia.
Here, taking the 535 signpost, you reach the church of S Antonio and …

We go to Spezia by car, take the train to Riomaggiore and then take the Alta via dei Monti Liguria to Portovenere, a very beautiful and well-marked path.
From Portovenere we take the bus to La Spezia and then Biassa by car😉

Such a beautiful tour today, stunning views, and it got milder and milder as the day progressed... through beautiful vineyards, oak groves, and a ridge path along the shore with stunning views along the coast 👍🥰🌈🍀💐
Highly recommended.
Best wishes and have a lovely evening 😊🙋🏼‍♂️

We were blessed with fantastically beautiful weather 🌞 for our last day of hiking in this magnificent landscape. 🤗

From Riomaggiore, we first climbed to the associated pilgrimage site of Montenero. Unfortunately, this pilgrimage church also didn't allow us to enter, but the view from here is indescribably beautiful! 😊
