Rollercoaster Trail Finale Ligure

Highlight • MTB Park

This trail, cared for down to the smallest details, stands out for its length and fluidity: fast, dotted with compressions, banks and small jumps. Let yourself be carried away by the extraordinary flow that it offers at every turn!

The surface is mostly rocky and often dusty. The length requires careful management of energy and measured use of the brakes. Perfect with a slight degree of humidity.

Rollercoaster - San Pantaleo Trail

Highlight (Segment) • MTB Park

Did it for the first time in August with my guide Michele from localmtbguide.com. Was an awesome experience. No one around (!?) in the afternoon. Would be fun doing 2-3x in a day and learn where speed can be sustained as there are nice sequences of drops and jumps, and then compressions.

End of Roller Coaster Trail

Highlight • Trail

I find the last section of the Rollercoaster to be a bit more uncomfortable to drive than the rest, as it tends to be bombed out. Nonetheless, great fun! Below you will be spat out again on the street. There is also a parking lot very close by (just down the road) where you can park your car and drive the uphill on your own.

Finalborgo Historic Center

Highlight • Historical Site

Finalborgo is the historic center of Finale Ligure, a charming place where you can find various shops, especially linked to outdoor activities such as climbing, MTB and hiking. It is a lively centre, where you can stop for an aperitif after a day of sport.

Due to a small technical problem, we went to EVOLVE Bikers (formerly Finale Bikers). Because it was so late, we took the shuttle to the roller coaster. It's always worth the experience.☺👍✌

So I didn't record the first 7km, because it was already done to Gorra and only road. Up to the pass it is a smooth 17 km and approx. 1100 hm, that takes a long time, I only drove eco and used 20% battery. But then the post goes off !!! 😜🙃🤩 Almost as many km down again, over fabulous …

The ultimate classic in the Rollercoaster Finale, a long S2 trail, simply ingeniously designed😎 In the classic version, the almost 1000 meters of elevation gain are achieved by leg muscles. There's also a shuttle, but we wanted to earn the pasta they serve at the Osteria upstairs🍛
Down - It has it all: banked turns, steep descents with counter-climbs, drops, …

Early birds 🐦 are rewarded and so we were among the first to secure free shuttle spots at “Finale Freeriders” today 😎

For 12.50 euros we went up to the parking lot and feeder of the legendary “Rollercoaster” 🎢

For the third year in a row, we are now familiar with the trail, we mastered the rollercoaster, no one was …

What a great trail, I would dare to say the best trail I've ridden so far 😍 We took the shuttle up, but not to Base Nato today because unfortunately there's still snow at the top. We actually wanted to start a big tour today, but the increasingly heavy rain put a stop to our plans. But we are so …

7 km rollercoaster, that puts a big grin on your face 😁, it always goes back and forth and up and down at the same time. You always have to look for the right speed to get up the next wave. 👍👌💪😍

We needed an e-bike for a colleague for the coming week. Since e-bike rentals in Varazze are currently rather limited, we decided to go to Finale Ligure. The mountain bike season has already started there, and renting bikes is no problem.

We spent the day there and took the Rollercoaster Trail and then the U Millin Trail to Borgio.
