Beautiful partial circular hike, which includes easy climbing passages with occasional views down on this tour (over the Zwölferkopf). Doable for experienced, sure-footed hikers (no guarantee). However, there is an easy parallel route that is usually also routed on Komoot.
The paths are mostly in wooded areas, and there are beautiful viewpoints on the ridge.

Today was hiking day, and the path led us to the Falkenstein castle ruins. Since we didn't want to hike back the same way, we chose the path over the Zirngrat and the Salober as the descent. Our efforts were rewarded with great views of the Vilstal, the surrounding mountains (which we don't all know by name) and the beautiful …

Beautiful family tour with a Marian grotto, a ruin on the site of which King Ludwig wanted to build an imposing castle, varied paths and wonderful views including the Vierseenblick.
You can stop off at the Saloberalm (open from Thurs to Sun in 2024, see saloberalm.de).

Such a beautiful walk this morning. First it was foggy and mysterious and then it cleared up and we had wonderful autumn weather.
