Balkantrasse

Highlight • Cycleway

The Balkan terrace is very suitable for walking. Above all, even in bad weather, you have no excuse that the ground is soaked 😉. And there are no cars 👍

Whit Monday is German Mill Day. Therefore, today's program included a visit to the Lambertsmühle in Rheinisch-Bergisches in Burscheid.

A worthwhile excursion: the volunteers went to great lengths with information about the mill and catering for visitors, creating a very interesting day.

In wonderful spring weather with sunshine ☀ and temperatures over 20°C, we took a short trip to the Bergisches Land region.

Take the Balkantrasse to Burscheid, shop at the Vossen bakery, and return via Dürscheid. Another stop at Denis's in Lützenkirchen – we deserved ice cream and espresso 😎

Sunday morning with sunshine and 7°C (feels like 5°C) -> NO MATTER -> first time this year, hop on the bike and head to Café Mösch in Burscheid for a delicious breakfast 😋

There via the Balkantrasse cycle path, back via Haus Landscheid, then on through Dürscheid and Lützenkirchen.
