Predominantly sparse deciduous forest and a pleasant amount of elevation gain.
About halfway through, there's an opportunity to stop for a break. Unfortunately, we were too early for the Swabian restaurant (goodbye, cheese spaetzle), but the alpine hut near the Dörenthener Klippen was already open. 🍻
