The Rodalber Felsenwanderweg offers something beautiful for everyone, as does the Seibelsbachfelsen. Instead of the garden shower, the natural shower can be preferred here.

April 6, 2024,Auf geht´s, Buben, in die Pfalz: Kinderwanderung: Große Bärenhöhlenrunde in Rodalben
´@Mother Mary was on a "hut tour" with her cycling group, the boys and I hiked in the beautiful Palatinate. The round trip in Rodalben is an absolute recommendation for a hike with children: around 10km long, hardly any elevation gain and always great rocks, small waterfalls, lots of paths and nice places to rest. At the end we visited …

From the Geißbühl hiking car park we set off on a forest path and immediately climb steeply uphill.
After this cardio workout we follow a cloud-soft, shady forest path, almost always at the same level, which demands our attention in places with rocks or roots.

"They're already crazy"

On the occasion of the Palatinate Forest Path, we were able to get to know a very beautiful and interesting part of the Rodalben …

Day one of our short vacation! A great trail consisting almost entirely of a narrow path, past amazing rocks and a few drunks 🍻🍺🍻 (Father's Day). Tomorrow we'll continue ☺️☺️ on the next section.

I have been on the Rodalber Felsenweg many times, but have never walked the entire route. So voila, that's the first part of it.
Highlights are the Bruderfelsen and the Bärenhöhlen. Shortly before the caves, I left the actual hiking trail for a moment and walked to the caves from below. This meant I skipped the Langenbachfelsen, which I didn't …

Today we had a brilliant rendezvous with nature. The rock hiking trail, in the middle of the Palatinate Forest Nature Park, is just right if you want to enjoy the peace and quiet and nature without any significant climbs. You pass great red sandstone formations, such as the upper Bärenhöhle or the Bruderfelsen. We can only recommend this tour.

The way to the bear cave was part of the rock tour. At first it was steep, but then it became more of a moderately difficult path. The bear cave is always worth a visit. When we walked this path again, we didn't know at the time that it was exactly where the big forest fire happened. Unfortunately, we had …
