For much of its length, it's not a particularly scenic route. Although it mostly runs on a dedicated bike lane, it's only separated from the busy road by a grassy area.

Hello Komoot'ler, our last location on the Somme is just before its mouth. A good reason to look to the sea. It was still surprisingly far, and then there was low tide. But we still made it. Was a nice tour. The last photo is for anyone who wants to know how the tandem fits into the camper.

Between Saint-Valery-sur-Somme and Le Crotoy, the cycle route offers one of the most beautiful panoramas of the bay. The very well-developed cycle path, a passage close to the road and its course along open landscapes where marshes, salt meadows, dunes and changing lights over the bay mingle.
