Klusenbachtal

Highlight (Segment) • Gorge

Varied, small brook valley with beautiful trees and sometimes pleasant silence. Also very popular with mountain bikers, but still very nice. At the end there is a small, crisp climb. We recommend!

Different trees with beautiful notches of streams. In addition, various hiking signs and a nice up and down. Except for the aircraft an ideal little gem. With many mountain bikes but must be expected.

April 14, 2024,Schloß Landsberg – Tour Schloss Landsberg Runde von Hösel
The round trip from Ratingen Hösel to Landsberg Castle led through the Hugenpoet and Landsberg forests with their old trees. The mostly natural paths/trails offer a pleasant relaxation factor. Unfortunately, the hiking trails around Landsberg Castle are currently covered in mud and mire because it has rained a lot recently. It was a pleasant hike.

The route offers many varied trails, initially along a separate path along a country road, later along quiet paths, streets, and mostly through the woods.

A recommended improvement:
Approximately 3.8 km after the start, the route suggests a climb up the "Rainer Trail" and then returns to a normal trail. You can skip this climb and follow the path normally, …

A beautiful, quite humid tour at a moderate pace. Hiking poles were already dusty 😅
Some of the paths were just muddy and impassable, so we took a "detour"
Wasn't much better either 😂
It was still fun
Now I'll let the others run the Olympics.....

The paths were extremely muddy in places, so you shouldn't walk here after it rains... According to my watch, it was 215 meters of elevation gain!

Very nice route. And if you have broken something or have a new hip. The route is nothing.

Highly recommended, varied circular tour from Hösel train station to Landsberg Castle with forest, meadows, small stream valleys and a castle complex that is impressive from the outside. There is a small corner cafe near the train station with delicious cakes. Ideal tour for traveling by S-Bahn. In our case, a small variant because a path was closed due to …

Nice route, but only recommended when it's dry. I sank ankle-deep in mud and slush several times along the way. 🙈
