I copied the route somewhere and followed it "blindly". The first 6km doesn't really offer much and so I dismissed it as training. But then it got beautiful. Everywhere great views in every direction and a great route. My conclusion is: Reinsberge - worthwhile insider tip!

Today we used the day off again to do a small family hike from "EulenBaumi" to the Reinsberge between Plaue and Heyda near Ilmenau.
The big highlights were the Reinsberge pulpit (with a magnificent view of Plauen and the Thuringian Forest and the Wachsenburg), and other great vantage points were the Reinsburg ruins and the neck cap.
