Leaving Budapest and passing through Szentendre, I crossed over to Szigetmonostor. There was no cycle lane between Szetendre and Szigetmonostor, which was a bit unpleasant. I crossed the island of Szigetmonostor to the ferry to get to Vác, which is a charming town well worth a visit. Then back to Göd, through Dunakeszi and back to Budapest.

The original plan for this route was Budapest, Szentendre, crossing to Szigetmonostor via Tahitótfalu, across with the ferry to Vác and then return to Budapest, but to my surprise, when I arrived the ferry, it had just started crossing (I arrived about 2 minutes later) and the next crossing would be in 1 hour.
