The trails here in Vogelsberg always run along the road. When he leaves the road he turns into a forest highway.
Fox and Wildsautrail have more to offer here. But here, too, there are always roads and dirt roads in between, albeit significantly less.
Still very muddy at the moment (Sept. 2021).
Maybe a combination with S1-S2 hiking trails makes more sense during the week if you want to have fun.

After a short injury break, the long-cherished wish Vogelsberg / Hoherodskopf was ticked off today. Unfortunately it was cold up there in autumn.

A local MTB hero (multiple MTB master) has created three trails here:
Deer Trail
Wild boar trail
and fox trail

I made deer and wild boars.

Many thanks to the hard-working helpers who take care of the great trails, my favorite is and remains the Hirschtail. Despite all the rain, it was surprisingly easy to ride, I would have expected a lot more mud. But we found it on the last sections of the Wildsau trail😂
