Hamburg is very rich in bodies of water, including small streams and rivers.
Today I wanted to hike along the Tarpenbek.

Start was Norderstedt Mitte and I was surprised what a gem the Tarpenbek and its banks are. The paths are mostly natural and narrow. Despite the beautiful weather, there was not a great crowd between hikers and cyclists.

We took our children to the airport by public transport, and then headed out into nature.
First, the hustle and bustle of the airport, and then a quiet stroll along green paths, mostly along the Tarpenbek River, to Norderstedt.
