Nice course but little shade. Nice visit to the charming village of Brain sur Vilaine. Happy to find a very nice municipal swimming pool in the center of Redon when we arrived.

Redon surprised us. We hadn't expected to find a small but pretty pedestrian zone and a Gothic ensemble consisting of a freestanding bell tower, abbey, and the current town hall (see first photos). The waterway intersection of the Nantes-Brest Canal and the Vilaine River is also something special.
