At the hiking car park Grüne Strasse GPS N51.13098 E7.32609 I set off towards the southeast. After about 1,000 m you reach the Knefelsberg farmstead, which was first mentioned in documents in 1481 under the name "zom Knevelsberge". The "Knefelsberger Bach" flows past to the north.
