But seriously, in the summer of 2023 I did NOT hit a single brake. The wetlands proliferated in tropical splendor. This path is the most beautiful and only real hiking trail in the whole Bruch. Like a jungle path, it's just two feet wide. Also allowed for bikes and passable.

That was a very nice plan B yesterday.

The idea was that I would cross from Leverkusen-Hitdorf (on the ferry, which is fortunately running again) to Cologne-Langel and we would do a tour there.

This time the hike is a tour suggestion from Komoot. It was shown to me when I was looking for Langel.

We really liked the route!
