This morning the day welcomed us with blue skies and sunshine ☀️ and lured us to a completely unknown corner of this island.
Schaprode is located in the west of Rügen on the Schaproder Bodden and opposite the small island of Hiddensee. The ferries to Hiddensee also go here, but we wanted to see this part of Rügen.

In somewhat stormy weather, we took a walk along the dam along the Schaproden Bodden. The path then led right onto familiar concrete paths. It's a shame there are no hiking trails here either. But it was still beautiful, if only for the stiff breeze.
