Pfitzteich

Highlight • Lake

Although it rained quite a lot this year, I found the Pfitzteich pond almost completely dried up. It would certainly be an even more beautiful spot in the woods with a water level.

To see the small Pfaffenteich pond in a hollow in the Röhrsdorf valley, you really have to stumble upon it by chance on the hiking trail, as there is no signpost. It is also rather small and unspectacular.

May 5, 2022,Röhrsdorfer Grund

Short lunchtime walk in Röhrsdorfer Grund and in the plantations near Borthen. A wonderful peace, no people, just birdsong, little mice and lizards scurrying across the path. Everything is in bloom.
