Chance helps. Thanks to the Komooter “Diane104” we learned about the Lohsen Forest in the southern foothills of Schmölln/Thür. Great! A narrow forest area that runs like a gorge and has a jungle-like flair. Today we went on a short Easter walk through the Schmöllner Lohsenwald to the seven brothers with the fallow deer enclosure there, further to the Thomas Müntzer settlement and to the species protection tower and then back through the Lohsen.
