Administratively, we went to Edmonton. Of course, on the way back we couldn't miss it and drove through our beloved Rockies. So we had a little hike in Jasper. My lovely roommate accompanied me despite the cold. Because of the winter weather, there weren't many other hikers out and about, which made the whole thing that much more pleasant. Afterwards …

Map on kiosk and signs is wrong the loop goes back bedore bridge 5 not after!
Very nice, short hike up the edge of the gorge and back down through the forest to the car park. If you want, you can also stop off at the highest point of the hike.
