Great place for a hike in winter and summer. In winter the canyon freezes in places, and it becomes possible to climb ice waterfalls deep inside the canyon. You can also do a guided walking tour on the frozen river, into the canyon. Looks of course totally different in summer and in winter. And has a very different feel to it as well.
