Can be done, does not have to be. At least not in this form. The Albsee and St. Blasien are very beautiful and worth seeing, but the route of this tour is... well. Sometimes you walk through the industrial area or directly on/next to the street, which is rather unpleasant.
Unfortunately, motorcycle noise is present throughout the entire tour 😕 …
