Dahner Felsenpfad

Highlight • Natural Monument

The Dahner Felsenpfad is a highlight of the region. Personally, I liked the Napoleonsteig a bit better. Offers a little less rock, but the route is more harmonious and you have more nature.

Satan's Throne

Highlight • Natural Monument

The Satan's chunk and the witch's mushroom are only a few meters apart.
However, the name witch mushroom is more unequivocal than the Satan's chunk ... You can see it.

Not to be missed on the way to the Neudahn castle ruins. Can almost keep up with the devil's table.

May 8, 2025,Pfalz - Dahner Felsentor - Burgruine Neudahn - Hexenpilz - Sängerfelsen
Our first short tour began at the Neudahner Weiher pond. After a short climb, we reached the magnificent Dahner Felsentor (rock gate) and soon after, the still relatively well-preserved Neudahn Castle ruins. Wonderful paths led us past the Satansbrocken (sacred rock), the Hexenpilz (hexen mushroom), and the Sängerfelsen (singer rock), with a beautiful view of Dahn. Then, a wonderful switchback …

Today, on the last day of our short holiday in the Palatinate, we decided on a tour that included sections we knew and areas where we hadn't hiked yet.

The weather today was the most consistent and no longer quite so cool.
The amount of sunshine was also significantly higher compared to the previous days.

On the last day of my vacation, I went to the Palatinate Forest again with Yuma from Haus Lohe "Ein Schäfertier in Action". It started in the village below the Jungfernsprung. After a short bathing break in the Wieslauter, we went into the forest. Our first destination was Neudahn Castle, then we went to the witch mushroom and the satanic …

On the way to the cycling race in Dahn, I dropped myself off at the Neudahner Weiher and stretched my legs on beautiful paths, past rocks and views. I was at the race track in Dahn just in time for the start and I also took the win🚴🏼‍♂️🚴🏼‍♂️🚴🏼‍♂️🏅
