Another highlight on our castle ruins tour is the Raueneck castle ruins.
The Raueneck ruins in the Haßbergwald were built around 1180 and abandoned in 1720. The castle, which was later taken over by the Bishop of Würzburg, fell into disrepair. The complex includes gun turrets, a chapel and a curtain wall from various construction phases.
