Praia dona Ana is a beautifully situated beach known for the mass of shells.
Disadvantage: where mussels are washed up, there are also algae and seaweed in abundance. Nevertheless, the beach is completely overcrowded, especially in the afternoon, sometimes whole busloads seem to be carted up. Funny spectacle when 50 heads then bob up and down between the algae 😁
