Almost the entire route on the Eurovelo 10 is on asphalt through the coastal forest. A very pleasant ride. You probably don't necessarily need to go to Palanga—it's a tourist hotspot—but you need somewhere to go, and the mussels were really good.

On the way back, we explored the harbor, the ferry dock, and the old town.
