Starkow is a very beautiful place with its brick basilica from the 13th century, the parish garden, the orchard, many renovated or rebuilt historical buildings (parish barn, parish stable, bee house, roadhouse, apple barn "Mus-Hus"). Here, two associations take care of the building, garden, endangered regional domestic animal breeds, culture and nature.
