What a crime! Today, the first part of the journey by train 🙈 But Swabians can't let the free mountain ride that's available for overnight stays go to waste 😉
And everything still feels right and good! The Jöchelspitzbahn cable car takes me up from the free!!!! parking lot at the valley station, relaxed and without any major crowds.

I spent the past weekend with a mixed group on the sunny side of the Lech Valley on the beautiful Bernhardseck.
We started at the Jöchelspitze valley station. From there by train 🚡 up.
From there continue over the Lachenkopf, Bergheumuseum, then on to the Jöchelspitze. Descent over the Rothornjoch and over the Lechtaler Panoramaweg to the Bernhardseckhütte.
