Hard road ride. Very good fitness required. Mostly well-paved surfaces and easy to ride. The starting point of the route is accessible with public transport.

Deià

Highlight • Settlement

Deia is a beautiful hillside town. The small food market is perfect for replenishing water and something sweet. Definitely plan it, because after that you need the grains.

I would only recommend going down, since the road is very busy.

Ascent to Coll de Sóller from Bunyola

Highlight (Segment) • Mountain Pass

This is one of the most famous climbs in Mallorca. A very quiet road, without much motorized traffic with a fair amount of curves. Also you can attack it from both sides. Essential if you are cycling around the island.

Coll de Sóller

Highlight • Mountain Pass

Stone walls, olive trees, endless curves and impressive views await you on the climb to Coll de Sóller. Enjoy this wonder.

Many switchbacks meander from both sides up to the Coll de Soller. The cars use the tunnel. So mostly only cyclists are on the road here. A real pleasure route.

A very nice loop. The climb to Soller via the serpentine road is fortunately not very busy, as there is a shorter parallel road through a tunnel.

When you go down the Coll de Sóller from one side to the other and be careful with the goats🐐🐐 it is in the middle of the road.

Seen many professionals. Among other things, the entire ineos team. At least there were probably 50 drivers in the fancy orange Ineos jersey with support vehicles and everything

Today we took a beautiful Bianchi Sprint to the 'home circuit' from Port de Soller up to Deia and Valldemossa. It's simply picturesque there. But unfortunately there was only time to quickly replenish our reserves before the long descent towards Palmanyola and finally to the Col de Soller. The latter has a moderate gradient of 5% over around 5 kilometers. …

If you don't get your bike until noon and still want to go ... 38 * C, it's your own fault.

This is a beautiful ride with plenty of little cafe stops. Definitely go the same direction as there is a wide shoulder towards the tunnel from Bunyola. If you go up from the other side, it's uphill without any shoulder and lots of traffic between Soller and the tunnel.
A really beautiful route. The ascent to Coll de Sóller is a highlight in itself. In addition, you wouldn't want to miss the beautiful, picturesque town of Deià. Beware of the mountain goats from Valldemossa to Esporles🐐🐐 The view during the descent is just "mindblowing"! Whether in winter or in spring. Conclusion: Recommended!
