Piedmontese Farmhouse

The Piedmontese farmhouse was built in 1792/93 by the building director of Prince Leopold III. Friedrich Franz von Anhalt-Dessau Georg Christoph Hesekiel was built on a hill on the bank of the Great Wallloch. According to legend, Grand Duke Carl August von Sachsen-Weimar had it built as a gift for Prince Franz. The Grand Duke often stayed in Wörlitz and Dessau with Goethe and received many suggestions for beautifying his own country.

In the meantime (08/2021) overnight stays / living in the historical building in the middle of nature directly on the Elbwall - for 2 to 4 people - from 2 nights - are offered.
