One of the quieter spots on the lakes. In the morning shortly after sunrise, however, you have the paths almost to yourself.

Igelsbach Lake

Highlight • Lake

The Igelsbachsee is a branch of the Bromb axis, which is long and nestled into the Spalter hill country. While the north-western part of the lake is under nature protection, you can practice various activities such as boating or swimming in the rest of the lake. There is a bathing beach with a sunbathing area and kiosk.

The area also has a lot to offer outside of the water. A 6.5-kilometer path leads around the lake, which you can either walk or ride a bike. If you need even more action, you can try your luck in a climbing park.

It's nice that the parking is free in winter. However, there are very few toilets open and depending on where you are, it can be difficult to find a place to stop for refreshments. Nevertheless, it was a nice tour.
