Cool hike. Nice variation of clear paths and some not so clear but the komoot route was good. I think I heard woodpeckers for the first time and these ones were really hard to find 😅
After exploring the Daniel Fir near Grafenhausen and the Grandfather Fir near Freudenstadt, it was finally time to explore Germany's tallest tree. And it's not that far from my home.
I saved this tour as the first one I installed Komoot.

Our Good Friday walk today took us to Waltraud vom Mühlwald, the (allegedly) tallest tree in Germany. Several sculptures by Thomas Rees await us right at the beginning, before the trail climbs steadily to Langackern. From there, we return to the starting point via Au and Merzhausen.
