Very nice walk along the water following the gr34 and passing through the Sainte-Marguerite dunes. You can see the lighthouse of the virgin island in the distance. Very pleasant circuit without any difficulty. Departure from the car park in Landéda on the road to the Aber Wrac'h corniche

Directions: Through the Dunes of Sainte-Marguerite – GR34 Loop from Landéda, Brittany

One of the most impressive stages of the GR34, the famous Customs Officers' Trail ("Sentier des Douaniers"), begins from the small town of Landéda in northern Finistère, a cul-de-sac that runs like a thread along the Breton coast.

When we arrived at the beautifully situated campsite there was no sea to be seen - low tide. But two hours later, the place is "swarming" with kite surfers and you're surprised that they don't get tangled up in each other and maneuver between the islets at great speed. We're doing our rounds again on the Zöllnerpfad around the peninsula: …

Circular hike around the Ste-Marguerite peninsula. The GR34 goes right over the dunes, beautiful beaches, coves and colors! Easy to walk, very much in the sand.

Very nice hike. Of a magical St. Marguerite at high tide.
At low tide no water at all

On Saturday we drove to the north of Brittany (air temperature: about 20 degrees), which is just under 40 minutes from our accommodation. There we walked a small part of the 2,000 km long customs path (Grande Randonnée 34 (GR34)), which runs from Mont-Saint-Michel to the bridge of Saint-Nazaire. The coastal hiking trail leads along beautiful beaches and beautiful nature.
