Both the time and the elevation gain are inaccurate. From the hut to the Negoiu summit alone, it's about 1,000 meters in elevation, then it descended to 2,000 meters and back up to about 2,300 meters. Add to that several climbs. And it took us 8.5 hours, with about an hour's breaks.
