Lichtenburg Castle

Gate Bridge, Ostheim vor der Rhön

The gate bridge is one of the oldest preserved structures in Ostheim. It was built in 1609 as a two-lane bridge with four round arches and two mighty central pillars with pointed icebreaker attachments. The ravages of time had noticeably gnawed at her.
