Linville has free camping and hot showers available. A good place to camp before tackling the constant ascent to Blackbutt. The ascent is not steep along the rail trail, but it is a constant pedal to get to the top.

Watch out for horse-riders as the tunnel was full of them when we arrived and that could potentially make for an awkward situation...

The toilets here were pretty grim we when landed and the grass had turned into a swamp, so perhaps a dry weather campsite.
