In some places, the Eyach River slopes slightly, and the water flows a bit more rapidly. This creates small waterfalls with miniature "rapids."

The ladder to heaven is a pedestrian staircase that connects the Hohenlohestraße in the valley with the Paulinenhöhe below the Wildbader Kopf via 365 steps.

A very beautiful tour. I felt like I was in the wilderness.

Walking along the Eyach River is truly an experience, despite the occasional patch of ice.

The final climb was quite challenging. Once you reach the highest point, the last 3 kilometers, which also include a nice, narrow descent, can be easily walked.

Today again the round that we already did similarly in February. komoot.de/tour/661655378
Changed direction and also to Bad Wildbad purely because of a visit to the Christmas market. If you put it that way, the last 2 km are extremely strenuous, although going downhill. There really isn't a way.

Showing Translation

We had already done the tour once in December 2020. Not shared publicly at the time. In our opinion, the most beautiful round trip in the northern Black Forest. Always beautiful and can only be recommended.
