We walked down the stairs from Schwitzgässle.
But the stairs on the other side where we walked up were just as sweaty.

The Hurst water tower is architecturally quite idiosyncratic but definitely worth seeing, and its silhouette can be seen from far away.

This tour has been waiting to be done for a long time. The weather was quite changeable today, but luckily there was only a short rain shower. A very nice round. I especially liked the view from the Hohenasperg.

On the way to Stephie I finally followed the sign to Hohenasperg. The round is inspired by Mendel, thank you very much 😉 I had a super nice conversation with an older gentleman from Meran on the Schwitzgässle. That gave me a lot of pleasure.
Unfortunately, the museum in the castle was closed today. Would have been interesting.

Leaving the house for the first time after a long 11 days of Covid....

Finally sun again ☀️☀️☀️. Nice round with few shadow paths. Beer garden at Kleiner Aspergle was open today in good weather. Half-height panorama trail on the Hohen Asperg was the sunny highlight. The way back on the Leudelsbach was a bit dirty, but no problem with good shoes.

🤔 I didn't have the Komoot recording on from the train station to Kleinaspergle. So I actually walked 11.2 km in almost 3 hours.

A bit off the path, a bit abbreviated ... despite everything a nice tour ...

Small evening round with EKS at my wine brother, Mattes winery, on the Hurst, with mulled wine and sausage in the Weckle. Event takes place tomorrow 11.12. again from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.!

Post-hiked Komoot tour. Perfect for today's weather and the Hohenasperg is always worth a trip.
