When we arrived in the Au in the morning, the snowdrops were still asleep 😌 They only opened their heads with the first rays of sunshine ☀️ An incredible natural spectacle with a sea of snowdrops and wild garlic, now spring can begin 🌼

In the Donau Auen / Orth a.d Donau National Park, the entire forest floor is in bloom. Snowdrops without end and the wild garlic is already high. Since the sun also accompanied us, it was a wonderful spring-like tour.

Today with my hiking group a hike in the Donauauen near Orth an der Donau. We were a total of 7 hikers with different abilities. Nobody was overwhelmed, everyone was enthusiastic about the nature experience. By the time we had a somewhat late but delicious lunch at Gasthaus Binder, all tiredness was forgotten.
