Gwidem ridge trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

It's not always as comfortable as it looks in the photo. One section is a T4 and you'll need hands and feet. But the ridge path is unique.

Great view of the sculpture, the valley and the steam cloud from the power plant. The subsequent descent through the Teufelsschlucht is the highlight when you walk from Allerheilenberg to Hägendorf.

The ascent to the Belchenfluh is fluid and easy to master. On the way back we took the Gwidemhöchi under the soles of our shoes and were surprised by a great ridge path with many old buildings. But the descent is tough. You'll need all four of them.
