St. Wolfgang Chapel (Wehr)

The St. Wolfgang chapel stands in the Gewann Klostermatt, on ancient walls, above the area of the former simple nunnery "Klingindal". Today it is the lawn of the outdoor pool. Minnesinger and Knight Walther von Klingen was actively involved in moving houses here in Alsace in 1256, also with a considerable amount, possibly because he died of all three sons in the year of eight children. In 1274, the 12 Dominican nuns moved to Basel in the newly created Klingental Monastery, but the productive structure with mats and buildings remained in place for a long time and was used economically with houses and a saw. In 2008 the old monastery walls were made visible with Georadar. The chapel site was built before 1200.

Erdmann Cave, Hasel

The Erdmannshöhle or Haseler Höhle is one of the oldest stalactite caves in Germany.
The measured total length of the cave is 2185 meters, the visible part of the cave is 360 meters long.
