In moderate weather, but still better than predicted, our first hike in Carinthia today took us to the Nockberge, into a gentle, impressive mountain landscape at over 2000m. From the toll booth we went about 550 meters up to the Weißscharte and around the Kasperkopf back down to the Nockalmhof (the biosphere park center is also here). There is nothing …
