The loop is incredibly beautiful; the only drawback is the section on the main road toward the end. Our very nice host at Carolina House inquired about bear status especially for us. Still, the warning sign at the start of the trail did make me a bit nervous, but it was 10:00 a.m. when we were there. A little further …
