Ascent to carnedd Llewellyn from llyn fynnon llugwy with plenty of snow. It is an ideal choice for a tough winter ascent when the days are short. Parking is available at gwern gof isaf camping site (2 pounds). The tarmacked road leading to ffynon lligwy reservoir is boring. But once we approach the reservoir everything changes.
