Unfortunately, the sky didn't loosen up at all, so it wasn't worth climbing the tower either.
It is a very nice little wood, with nice forest trails that were unfortunately very muddy and had large puddles.
But the coffee stop in Bad Laer and the final baked potato in Bad Rothenfelde were also worth it.
