September 2, 2024,Kilchattan Bay circular
What started with no rain and quite a muggy day from Rothesay now drenched on full circular completion of the bay. Great views of the bay and lighthouse though! 🌧️ Great to meet you enroute @Ryan Lambertini ; thanks for your suggestions on the island.
Fantastic circular hiking trail, which leads partly along the coast and rewards you with beautiful views. Starts and finishes at the old jetty at Kilchattan Bay. You can also park there. At the end of the road, the path turns into the well-signposted hiking trail (West Island Way).
Sure-footedness is required in some places, but the path is not difficult.
