We were allowed to park our car in Oberstdorf (Thanks to Nette&Herbert 😘), from there we cycled to Spielmannsau.
Also there a thank you 🙏, we were allowed to leave the bikes in the yard of the Berggasthof overnight.
From here on foot through the Sperrbachtobel up to the Kemptner Hütte.

Kleine Seenrunde mit Hängebrücke ⛱️
Schon oft gefahren … immer wieder schön 😎😎,

Die Hängebrücke ist immer ein Highlight, heute hat eine junge Familie vergeblich versucht ihren großen Hund davon zu überzeugen, dass er da rüberlaufen kann … soll … muss 🫣🫣

Because it was so nice the last few times 🤩😍 and our pleasure-seeking friends are once again enjoying themselves in the Allgäu, we spontaneously decided to go to Oberstdorf for a joint round over the weekend 😬😇
From Sonthofen, we went via the Königsträßchen to Alpe Schnitzlertal, then on to Oberjoch

Hahnenkamm ⛰️ und Schneetalalm 😋
Von Schmitte ging‘s windig, schlammig und ganz schön neblig-kühl (zumindest im Vergleich zur Pfalz 😅) nach oben, gesehen hat man nicht so arg viel 🙃
… na doch, ne ganze Menge Gämsen 🥰
Ab dem Gipfel wurde es dann bis zur leckeren Knödel-Einkehr 😋 in der Schneetalalm immer sonniger.

Panoramic tour over Pfronten and the Vilstal valley to Schattwald. Short detour to Höfer See (I've never seen it with so little water before 😢) and to Vilsalpsee.

Today's loop was actually planned for the bio-bike and ended at Grüntensee… around Jungholz there are several pretty nasty ramps, it wasn't exactly my favorite route with the "bio" bike 🫣
With the e-bikes, it wasn't that incredibly strenuous now 🙃, so we hadn't had enough at Grüntensee yet and spontaneously

In October, we aborted the Hörnerweg somewhere in the middle due to masses of soft, mushy snow 😅, so the loop was still pending.
It’s a very beautiful tour with great views, numerous summit crosses and, apart from the steep, coarse gravel downhill forest path at approx. km13, it’s also nice to walk. 🙂🙂

Our EMTBs finally got to come along to the Allgäu 😅 and with them, even such steep climbs as from Nesselwang up to the Sportheim Böck are bearable, cool 😎😎
