The Gendarme Path now stretches 84 km from Padborg to Skovby. From 1839, the gendarmes patrolled here to put a stop to smugglers.
The path is excellently signposted and leads through wonderful landscapes:
A "must" for all nature-loving guests!

Today we took the bus from Sonderborg to Höruphaff and started from there, changing our direction. It was a very beautiful route with wild beaches and cliffs.
The stage was short, but we extended it with a long beach break and a swim in the 14°C Baltic Sea.
